Building WASH and Resilient Municipality (SARWACHA)
Environment and Public Health Organization (ENPHO) is implementing a project “SARWACHA-Building a Water-Safe and Resilient Municipality”, overseen by Changunaryan Municipality and funded by DOPPER and SIMAVI. Thisproject serves as a foundation for establishing a sustainable model that encompasses a range of activities crucial for advancing public health and environmental well-being. The initiatives under SARWACHA encompass water quality testing, policy development, awareness campaigns, training sessions, and capacity-building efforts. The primary focus is on elevating the operational and managerial aspects of water supply schemes, improving water safety plans, and fostering private sector engagement. The project aims to elevate water quality, enhance water infrastructure, empower women, girls, and marginalized communities in decision-making processes, and foster an effective framework for private sector engagement and strategic investments and partnerships, aligning to the Changunarayan Municipality.
